Privafy is a cybersecurity startup founded in March 2018 by Guru Pai, Rick Clemmer, Kumar Vishwanathan, and Sundar Rangamani.
Guru Pai, CEO and Co-Founder, brought over 30 years of experience leading organizations ranging from startups to global firms. Before co-founding Privafy, he held senior roles at Verizon Communications, overseeing products, services, and operations. Guru also held executive positions at Sonus Networks, AT&T/Bell Labs, and Motorola. He founded technology startups in networking and big data analytics.
Rick Clemmer, Chairman and Co-Founder, served as the Chief Executive Officer of NXP Semiconductors from 2009 to May 2020, significantly increasing the company’s value during his tenure. He also held leadership roles at Agere and was a senior advisor at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. Rick has served on the boards of Hewlett Packard and Aptiv. 
Kumar Vishwanathan, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Co-Founder, spearheaded the development of Privafy’s innovative Security-as-a-Service platform. He played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s technology strategy, building its cloud-native security solutions, and translating its vision into scalable, user-friendly products. Before joining Privafy, Kumar was the Chief Technologist at Verizon Labs, the former Vice President of Engineering at Sonus, and the co-founder of four startups. He holds 28 issued patents and over 15 pending telephony, multimedia, and collaboration applications.
Sundar Rangamani, Executive Vice President of Engineering and Co-Founder, has nearly thirty years of experience with a knowledge base deeply rooted in telecommunications, data networking, internet services, and information technology. Before joining Privafy, Sundar was a senior technologist at Verizon, where he led the software development efforts for the LTE network optimization, internet services platform, big data and analytics platform, and cloud PaaS. Before Verizon, Sundar served in various engineering roles and co-founded three technology startups.
